The SIT Asia Fund will contribute a portion of the cost for North and Southeast Asia programs, based on student need.

SIT has received funding from the Freeman Foundation for the purpose of educating undergraduates about Asia through our field-based study abroad Scholarship programs. Grant recipients are expected to help promote intercultural understanding and cooperation between the people of the United States and Asia. Priority will be given to students applying to newer programs in the region. Currently these include:

Scholarship
China: Public Health and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Summer Program)
Indonesia: Bali: Arts and Culture
Mekong Delta: Natural and Cultural Ecology
Viet Nam: Culture and Development

Awards are based on academic performance, curricular interest, and the ability to carry out independent field study.
